After graduating from the University of Victoria Law School in 1985, I worked as a Claims Adjuster for the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (“ICBC”) for over two years. At ICBC, I gained valuable skills, experience, and insight into our public automobile insurance system.

In 1988, I entered the legal profession to work for a small law firm which focused upon ICBC personal injury claims. There, I utilized my professional skills, providing my expertise and knowledge in our efforts to successfully claim compensation for victims of motor vehicle accidents.

In 1992, I opened my own law practice and, for the next twelve years, established myself as an advocate and facilitator for victims of motor vehicle accidents making claims through the public automobile insurance system. During this period, I handled hundreds and hundreds of injury claims and in an overwhelming number of cases successfully negotiated settlements for my clients using a cooperative, non-confrontational approach.

Recently, I opened my new office in the Granville Rise area of Vancouver. You can reach me by phone at 604.683.8111 or by email at rjblawcorp@telus.net.
